Foyer/Entry Way

I'm really getting into this late in the game, but I have enjoyed the posting "Show Us You Where You Live" from Kelly's Korner. We bought our house about a year ago and it is a work in progress. The foyer hasn't received any attention. It has been used by several carpenters and painters to carry stuff in and out of the house. Recently I purchased some prints from Annechovie's Etsy site. I want to frame and hang in the foyer. We want to paint, but not sure on the color. Need lamp, rug, other accessories. Suggestion would be great!
